With more than three decades in the jewelry business, Sherry Smith is a driving force in the industry. After running her own retail stores for twenty years, she has amassed a stellar track record of high-level performance, mentoring small and mid-size retailers and brands from $5M to $80M, to sustainable growth.
Sherry oversees the Edge Retail Academy team of seasoned business advisors with training, mentoring, and curriculum development. She also drives the acquisition and management of some of the industry’s biggest brands, suppliers, and data partners.
Sherry’s talents include executive coaching, small business infrastructure, data analysis, personnel development, finance, inventory management/strategy, CRM, marketing, and succession planning for both retailers and brands.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of Jewelers of America, a frequent speaker and panelist at industry events and a contributing columnist for National Jeweler, INSTORE and numerous other publications.
