About Charleen Pfaff
From the start, Charleen was raised in the jewelry industry, heralding from a family of watchmakers with their own horology repair business. You could say she knows a thing or two about timepieces; her father, her husband and both of her sons are watchmakers while her daughter is the US head of Visual Merchandising and Training for a leading Swiss watch company. Recognizing the value of working outside of her own family’s business Charleen climbed the ladder at Bailey Banks and Biddle (BB&B) over the course of two decades. Her story includes the rise from sales personnel to regional manager for a major conglomerate, and four general management positions for luxury independents all over the eastern seaboard.
With each position Charleen built upon her knowledge and ability to drive sales and profitability. Building and coaching winning teams and mentoring her recruits into positions of leadership were her personal passions. Post BB&B, Charleen helmed two corporate conglomerates followed by two luxury independents. These experiences fed her knowledge and allow her to understand different owner’s and employee’s painpoints and visions for success
Charleen has designed store identity through recruitment, vendor procurement, merchandising and marketing. Up to date and hungry for new information, she uses her knowledge and intuition to help stores stay relevant and successful. She excels at recruiting, on-boarding, organizational development and building strong, winning teams. This, no doubt, is the reason she is the holder of the “Manager of the Year” award from four different companies – starting with BB&B.
A consummate professional with 36 years of experience in every facet of jewelry store management, Charleen is a chameleon who can adjust to any personality. She is motivated, creative and versatile with a winning personality that engenders trust and confidence. Charleen’s reputation in the industry proceeds her, with some of the industry’s best and brightest recognizing her as a transformative leader and faithful friend and colleague.
